So When Do You Take Your Blog Public?

I have been jotting a few thoughts and notes for the last couple weeks trying to get into a blogging groove. I like it. But so far it feels like I am talking to myself....which based on the fact that no one else has seen this...it's true!

So, when do you take your blog public? And how do you get the word out? And most of all, how do you use a blog to leverage influence?

The silence is deafening.

Hitchhikers Guide To Multi-Site

Last weekend we had three churches hangout with us at CCC for a cool thing we call "The Hitchhikers Guide To Multi-Site". They come to our Leadership Community, then had a Q&A with me (plus an inpromtu lunch), then visit five CCC sites and finish up with a staff debrief - all on a Saturday and a Sunday. If you are interested in multi-site it is a great way to get a quick experience of what it is like.

But the highlight for me was hooking up with the team from New Song Church (http://www.newsong.net/). They have three sites: Irvine, North Orange County and LA...and check this out - Dave Gibbons, their Lead Pastor just moved to Bangkok to start a fourth site. I LOVE IT!! They came out here to learn from us, but I got a lot of great stuff over lunch to help us with our new Pilsen-Chicago location.
