Do I Write A Book?
Last night I got a contract from Zondervan to write a book with the working title of "What's The Big Idea?". It is a part of Leadership Networks Innovative Church series (http://www.leadnet.org/news_04272005.asp) On the one hand, I'm totally pumped about the idea of writing...but I'm pretty easy when it comes to new opportunities. To me the big questions are the following:1. How does this help CCC (http://www.communitychristian.org) accomplish it's mission: "helping people find thier way back to God" and NewThing (http://www.newthing.org) accomplish it's mission of being a catalyst for a movement of reproducing churches?
2. How do I (and others) write so that it is a win for the whole CCC/NewThing team, financially and other wise?
3. Where does that fit into my schedule?
I'm pretty sure I will do it. But I need to work through this stuff. More cool opportunities!!
